Tozawa Yataro (died 1585) was a Japanese samurai who served under Imagawa Tomeji, the enforcer of the Japanese Templar Kimura Yukari, in Awaji during the late Sengoku period.
Biography[edit | edit source]
By 1585, Tozawa Yataro was seen as a skilled warrior with his kanabō, but held faith in nothing. Serving Tomeji, he maintained Yukari's control over Awaji by abusing and instilling fear in its people.[1]
After the Master Assassin Fujibayashi Tsuyu informed her daughter Naoe and Yasuke about Yataro, the two Kakushiba ikki members located him during one of his patrols and eliminated him.[1]
