Honda Mosuke (died 1585) was a Japanese samurai of the Honda clan. He served as a captain under Imagawa Tomeji, the enforcer of the Japanese Templar Kimura Yukari, in Awaji during the late Sengoku period.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In 1585, Honda Mosuke had departed from his clan's domain in Mikawa and became a samurai under the Templars Imagawa Tomeji and Kimura Yukari. A skilled fighter, he dual-wielded two katanas and set them aflame to intimidate any opponent. However, his constitution faltered when he ate rice, which induced vomiting. Serving Tomeji, he patrolled Awaji and harassed the locals into submission to expand Yukari's control.[1]

After the Master Assassin Fujibayashi Tsuyu informed her daughter Naoe and Yasuke of Mosuke's location, the two Kakushiba ikki members found him during a patrol, killed him, and recovered the spare ōdachi Rageheart from his personal effects.[1]
