Kaiwara Heitaro (died 1585) was a Japanese samurai who served as a captain under Imagawa Tomeji, the enforcer of the Japanese Templar Kimura Yukari, in Awaji during the late Sengoku period.
Biography[edit | edit source]
By 1585, Kaiwara Heitaro had failed his training with the katana, so he chose to wield a naginata instead. When not working, he spent his time writing poems in secret. Serving Tomeji, he patrolled Awaji and violently kept the locals in line.[1]
After the Master Assassin Fujibayashi Tsuyu informed her daughter Naoe and Yasuke about Heitaro, the two Kakushiba ikki members found him, assassinated him, and recovered the spare naginata Unbridled Fury from his personal effects.[1]
