Kumabe Ujiie was a Japanese rōnin and a recruiter for the Japanese Templar Kimura Kei who lived in the Kii Province during the late Sengoku period.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 1582, Kumabe Ujiie worked for Japanese Templar Kimura Kei and recruited any lost retainers, rōnin, or soldier to Kei's cause. However, the samurai and Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke soon learned of Ujiie's location at Okunoin Cemetery and ventured there to find the location of Kei. There, Ujiie browsed the cemetery and found multiple lost warriors before coming upon Yasuke, unaware of the former Oda retainer's true intentions. Gathering all the warriors, Ujiie announced that if they were interested to serve once more and for his master, they were invited to Hibuse Fudo Temple. With this, Yasuke left and traveled to the temple to confront Kei.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Depending on the player's choice, Ujiie can be left alone or killed at the cemetery.[1]
