Ōmizo Castle

Ōmizo Castle was a Japanese castle in the town of Ōmizo in Ōmi, Japan.
History
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and Igan shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe discussed with Rokkaku Katsuhime about retrieving her mentor's teppō. However, Naoe learned from a note that Katsuhime went inside without her. Just outside, she noticed Katsuhime running at a post and being shot by the castle's captain Isono Kazumasa. Rushing onto the castlegrounds, Naoe managed to combat Kazumasa and his men, killing them in the process. Clearing the way, she carried Katsuhime out of the castle towards safety. [1]
Afterwards, Naoe and Yasuke returned to the castle at one point, eliminated two samurai daishos, and acquired Mamushi Snake Hood from the fortress' chest. While there, Naoe climbed atop the tenshu and surveyed Lake Biwa and Ōmizo.[2]
