Daikichiji Temple was an abandoned temple in northeastern Ōmi, Japan.
History
In 1582, travelers began to go missing or be killed by a shinobi, who was actually Rokkaku Yoshimitsu, the leader of the Godai Shinobi. The Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke inspected the temple grounds after accepting a task from Koga's former daimyō Shōtei to find and stop his former students. Inspecting a cave, they found Yoshimitsu, Shōtei's stepson, who tried to ambush them. However, Naoe and Yasuke managed to best and kill him before retrieving the tantō Call of the Void from his personal effects.[1]
While there, Naoe and Yasuke also found and retrieved two lost pages scattered throughout the temple.[2]
