Ise Asuka (died 1582), also known as The Concubine, was a Japanese daikan who presided over Kyoto, Yamashiro.

Biography

Ise Asuka worked as the daikan of Kyoto. Wearing a feminine disguise, he infiltrated public gatherings and gathered information from his subjects, whom he subsequently extorted. Asuka, along with other daikans, later allied with the Shinbakufu to financially support their plans in exchange for protection.[1]

In 1582, Lady Oichi's bodyguard Kuma spoke with the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke about eliminating a group of corrupt daikans.
