Masago (died 1582) was a Japanese warrior who lived during the late Sengoku period.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In 1582, Masago, along with her fellow competitors, followed former monk Unkai and began to kill any challengers at Gyoji's arena at Ōminesan-ji. However, Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke were invited by Gyoji to eliminate her and her fellow warriors. Masago soon faced off against them first but she was ultimately defeated and killed by the pair.[1]
