Wada Koretake (died 1582), also known as The Wounded, was a samurai who served as a retainer to daimyo Oda Nobunaga during the late 16th century. A member of the Shinbakufu, he was part of the group that caused the death of the Iga jonin Fujibayashi Nagato and took an artifact from his possession.[1]
By 1582, Wada pursued an effort to eliminate the remnants of the Ikkō-ikki in Izumi Settsu, which was led by Kyonyo, the son of the Honganji leader Kennyo.[2]
Behind the scenes
Wada Koretake was a character in Assassin's Creed: Shadows, where he was one of the first few antagonists hunted down by the protagnist Fujibayashi Naoe.
