Shimazu Masujiro (died 1585) was a Japanese samurai and a captain who served under the Japanese Templar Kimura Yukari's enforcer Imagawa Tomeji in Awaji during the late Sengoku period.
Biography
In 1585, Shimazu Masujiro was seen as a disgraced student of bō master Meiran but also as a person who values loyalty and honor. Yet, he was having an affair with his best friend's wife. Under Tomeji's orders, he patrolled across the island and enforced Yukari's rule over the isle's people. When the Master Assassin Fujibayashi Tsuyu spoke with her daughter Naoe and Yasuke about Masujiro, the two Kakushiba ikki members located him whilst on his patrol, eliminated him, and retrieved the bō Meiran's Legacy from his personal effects.[1]
