Mucho (died 1582) was a Japanese criminal and a member of a child-abduction ring located in Osaka.

Biography

A child kidnapper, Mucho, alongside Richo and Shucho, followed their leader Kacho's instructions to steal children from wealthy businesspeople in order to seize control of their trade. Mucho was tasked to kidnap a sake merchant's child and bring them to the Kojo Ruins, in order to use the child as ransom to gain control of the merchant's business.[1]

In 1582, the kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe found a note during a game of collecting paper butterflies tasked by a local woman. The note detailed Mucho's plan to abduct the merchant's child near the Kojo Ruins, and Naoe proceeded to head there to investigate. At the ruins, Mucho was found and promptly assassinated by Naoe, who acquired a tantō, the Hidden Pleat, from her personal effects.[1]

Personality and traits

Mucho wielded a tantō as her main weapon.[2]

Behind the scenes

Mucho can be found either on the road while luring the child away, which lets Naoe escort the child home, or at an abandoned warehouse.
