Mucho (died 1582) was a Japanese criminal and a member of a child-abduction ring located in Osaka.
Biography
A child kidnapper, Mucho, alongside Richo and Shucho, followed their leader Kacho's instructions to steal children from wealthy businesspeople in order to obtain and seize control of their trade. Mucho was tasked to steal a sake merchant's child to Kojo Ruins and then ransom the child in exchange for their business.[1]
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe found a note during a game of collecting paper butterflies tasked by a local woman. She followed the clue from the note to Kacho about Mucho's plan to abduct the merchant's child near Kojo Ruins. At the ruins, Mucho was found and quickly assassinated by Naoe, who acquired the tantō, the Hidden Pleat, from her personal effects.[1]
Personality and traits
Mucho wielded a tantō as her main weapon.[2]
Behind the scenes
Mucho can be either be found on the road while luring the child away, which let Naoe escort the child home, or at an abandoned warehouse.
