Hasegawa Magobei (died 1585) was a Japanese samurai and one of the captains who served under Japanese Templar and Kimura Yukari's enforcer Imagawa Tomeji in Awaji during the late Sengoku period.

Biography

In 1585, Hasegawa Magobei was known as a student of the dual katanas. He also developed a habit of eating betel nuts to stay alert despite being allergic to them. Serving Tomeji, he prowled the island and violently kept the people in line to expand Yukari's control over Awaji.[1]

Out on one of his route, Magobei was found by the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke, with the information from Naoe's mother and Master Assassin Tsuyu. Confronting him, the pair eliminated the captain and recovered the katana Loyalty Unbound from Magobei's personal effects.[1]
