The Ghost General (died 1582) was a Japanese rōnin and a member of the Kabukimono located in Sakai.
Biography
Part of the street gang Kabukimono, the Ghost General was one of eight rōnin who terrorized the communities across the provinces of Izumi Settsu and Harima. However, the priest Shin'nyo of the Nishinomiya Shrine found and acquired the help of the Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe to be rid of them.[1]
Death
By 1582, the Ghost General and his gang, the Hungry Ghosts, took whatever they wanted especially the wares along the Port of Sakai. Patrolling from the port to the Money Changer District, the rōnin watched over their ill-gotten resources, until the Ghost General was found and assassinated by Naoe.[1]
