Fuyu was a Japanese shrine-maiden (miko) who worked at Ōmiwa Shrine in the Yamato Province during the late Sengoku period.
Biography
In 1582, Fuyu met with the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke and she explained the mysterious actions around the province and how Ōmononushi led them here to help. While escorting them around Ōmiwa Shrine, she asked them to pay their respect at the smaller shrines and that they will find their answers from the spirits.[1]
After being met by Matsunage Kojiro at the last shrine,[1] Naoe and Yasuke discoverd from their investigation of a secretive group called the Kurai Eikyou, who worked to instill chaos and instigate a civil war between the Tsutsui and Akiyama clans. Naoe and Yasuke hunted and killed all of the Kurai Eikyou and headed back to Fuyu to inform her. Meeting them again, Fuyu thanked them and told them to head where they met Kojiro for the first time. There, Naoe and Yasuke found and acquired the ōdachi Whisper of Muramasa.[2]
