Fukuchiyama (福知山) is a city in the northern Kyoto Prefecture of Japan. During the Sengoku period, it was part of Tanba Province.

In the 1580s, the samurai Yasuke travelled to Fukuchiyama to locate and eliminate the corrupt samurai Fujioka Jiro, who had been harassing the locals on behalf of his lord Hayashi. The kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe later arrived to assist him in his mission.[1]
