Ukita Naoie (宇喜多 直家; 1529 – 1582) was a Japanese daimyō of the Sengoku period. He was the father of Ukita Hideie, who succeeded him following his death.[1]

In 1582, Naoie was invited to attend a Renga rengaka (連歌会) held by Kuroda Yoshitaka at his castle in Himeji.[2] Later, Naoie was assassinated by the Japanese Assassin Fujibayashi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke within the tenshu of the castle.[3]
