Tozawa Yataro (died 1585) was a Japanese samurai who served under Imagawa Tomeji, the enforcer of the Japanese Templar Kimura Yukari, in Awaji during the late Sengoku period.

Biography

In 1585, Tozawa Yataro was seen as a skilled warrior with a kanabō but also he held faith in nothing. Serving Tomeji, he maintained Yukari's control by instilling fear and abuse over the people of Awaji. When the Master Assassin Fujibayashi Tsuyu informed her daughter Naoe and Yasuke about Yataro, the two Kakushiba ikki members subsequently located him on his patrol, eliminated him, and acquired the Deathseeker Helmet from his personal effects.[1]
