The Kurai Eikyou (暗い影響) were a group of criminal agents active during the late Sengoku period in Yamato. The group's name translates to the "dark influence."[1]

History

By 1582, the Kurai Eikyou was formed and their chaotic actions happened to catch the attention of miko maiden Fuyu of Omiwa Shrine, who contacted the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke to aid the people of Yamato from these "spirits" inflicting terror onto the public.[2]

From their investigation, Naoe and Yasuke tracked down and eliminated all the agents within the collective and reported back to Fuyu. Fuyu thanked them for their aid and sent them back to where they met Kojiro for the first time. Going back to where they met Kojiro, they found and acquired a long katana, the Whisper of Muramasa.[1]
