Genzaburo (died 1582) was a Japanese military commander for the Bessho clan and served under Bessho Harumasa.
Biography
In 1582, after Bessho Harumasa's death and learning of Koshiro's part in his downfall,[1] Genzaburo ordered his remaining unit to assassinate Koshiro at Kyokaiji Temple. However, upon his unit's failure, they soon split apart and awaited his next orders. Yet, Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe met with Koshiro after their failed attempt and promised to hunt them down.[2]
