Zuiganji Temple

Zuiganji Temple is a Buddhist temple situated in northeastern Himeji in Harima, Japan.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe arrived at the temple to find Genzaburo, Koshiro's former commander, who sought to kill Koshiro over his part in Bessho Harumasa's death. After a heated discussion over Harumasa, they fought each other but Naoe ultimately defeated and killed him. Afterwards, Koshiro came to help but Naoe warned him not to do something reckless again. Before leaving, Naoe recovered an ōdachi Tactician's Steel from Genzaburo's personal effects.[1]
