Miyazu

Miyazu (宮津市) is a city in the Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. During the Sengoku period, it was situated in Miyazu Bay in the Tamba province.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe ventured into the city and found a member of the Iron Hand Guild Ginroku. From her findings, she discovered the leader of the guild, the Iron Hand, was stationed at Fukuchiyama Castle.[1] At some point, she and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke traversed through Miyazu, found a chef selling namasu, and took a sample for Hong to taste.[2]
