Hijiyama Fort

Hijiyama Fort was a fort that was situated in Hijiyama in Iga, Japan.
History
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and samurai Yasuke met with the rōnin Ibuki to save his fellow comrade Kyobei. Barging inside, Yasuke and Ibuki made their way towards the center of the fort, where they found daimyō Nakatomi about to execute Kyobei with her naginata. Seeing Ibuki alive, Nakatomi remarked that her methods were practical to those who disobeyed her, especially for Kyobei as he did not kill Ibuki.[1]
Although Kyobei begged to die, Ibuki pleaded for him to stand up, which led Yasuke to convince Kyobei to fight with them. Together, they fought against Nakatomi and her men, who were ultimately slain by the trio. Afterwards, Yasuke and Ibuki left the fort to meet later east of Kashiwara Village.[1]
At one point, Yasuke and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe infiltrated the castle, eliminated two samurai daishos, and acquired Swift Shinobi Robes from the fort's chest. While there, they also climbed atop the watchtower within its upper area and surveyed the land.[2]
