Fujibayashi Nagato-no-Kami (藤林 長門守) was an Iga jōnin[1] and father of Fujibayashi Naoe. The pressures of war forced Nagato to train Naoe to be his peer in the martial arts.[2] Shortly after Oda Nobunaga initiated the Tenshō Iga War,[3][4] members of the Shinbakufu entered the province, killed Nagato, and took a prized box he had entrusted to Naoe.[5]
