History[edit | edit source]
In 1582, the Iga shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke visited Shiotsu during their investigation to uncover the whereabouts of the Shinbakufu member known as "The Wheel". Using the town's shrine as a rendezvous point, the two led their own separate investigations to obtain information. While Naoe infiltrated the local inn, Yasuke searched the barge. After reuniting at the shrine with the information they had gathered, they ultimately concluded that the Wheel was hiding on Chikubushima.[1]
