Marume Nagayoshi (丸目 長恵, 1540 – 1629) was a Japanese samurai who served as a retainer under the Sagara clan. Having trained under Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, Nagayoshi was considered one of his best students who went on to found the Taisha ryū school.[1]

By 1581, Nagayoshi was based at Nobutsuna's school in Azuchi Castle overseeing the training of the students. In spring of that year, Nagayoshi met the newly-arrived Diogo, who had been sent by Oda Nobunaga to train under Nobutsuna.
