The Hunters of Kyonyo

I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name? This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given. |
A group of bounty hunters used to work for the Shinbakufu member Wada Koretake until his death at the hands of Kyonyo and Igan shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe. Upon learning that Kyonyo led the remnants Ikkō-ikki towards Kii, the group planned their revenge for their fallen ally and employer.[1]
History
After Koretake fell at the hands of Kyonyo and the kunoichi Naoe,[2] the group moved to Kii to continue their criminal endeavours. However, after learning of Kyonyo and his men's arrival in the province, they banned together to hunt and kill the Ikkō-ikki leader. However, Kennyo, Kyonyo's father and former Ikkō-ikki leader, learned of their plans and then met with Kakushiba ikki members Naoe and Yasuke. Asking them for help, Kennyo gave them information of an ambush set for his son.[1]
From the ambush to their own investigation, Naoe and Yasuke managed to find clues and then assassinated nearly all of the bounty hunters. They later met with Kyonyo to discuss their progress. However, they learned that the leader of the group Tsuchi-Gumo abducted Kennyo to draw Kyonyo out of hiding. Fortunately, Naoe and Yasuke aided Kyonyo in his rescue mission, saved Kennyo, and then assassinated Tsuchi-Gumo at Akagi Fort. With Tsuchi-Gumo dead, the group was ultimately dissolved.[1]
