Sorin was a Japanese monk based at the Makinoodera Temple in Izumi Settsu during the late 16th century. He served as the former teacher of Junjiro before abandoning monkhood to join the shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe's group.

Biography

In Late September 1581, Sorin and Junjiro came across a heavily wounded Fujibayashi Naoe lying unconscious next to the body of her father Nagato outside Katano Castle. Seeing she was still alive, the two brought her back to the temple and tended to her injuries.[1]
