The Seiganto-ji and Nachi Falls in Kii

Kii (紀伊) was a province of Japan in the Kansai region, bordering the province of Yamato to the northeast, and Izumi Settsu to the northwest.[1] The region is known for the abundance of Shinto and Buddhist temples, in particular the Kumano shrines.[2]
