This article has a lot of room for expansion. Please improve it with additional information in accordance with the Manual of Style

Izumi Settsu (和泉 摂津) was a region of Japan, which comprises of today's Osaka Prefecture.[1][2] During the Sengoku period, the region borded Harima to the west, Yamashiro to the north, Yamato to the east and Kii to the south.[3]

The city of Sakai served as the region's major trading and commercial port.[3]

Behind the scenes

Izumi Settsu is the first of the playable regions in Assassin's Creed: Shadows. It seems to be an amalgamation the real life provinces of Izumi and Settsu.
