Imai Sōkyū (今井 宗久, 1520 – 1593) was a Japanese merchant in Sakai who served as tea master to Oda Nobunaga during the 16th century. As his family owes much of their influence and wealth to Nobunaga, Sōkyū and his son Sokun advocates for the daimyo in Sakai in return.[1]
In 1582, Sōkyū and his son received a visit from the Iga kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe, posing as a trader with forged but authentic looking contracts.[1]
