Ibuki was a solitary ronin who was active in Sengoku period Japan. They were recruited into the Kakushiba ikki by Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke, becoming one of their allies.[1]
Personality and traits
Although Ibuki came from a clan consisting of obedient samurai, they have a unique moral compass. Instead, Ibuki is rebellious and highly values their freedom, and dislikes the stern rules of the samurai class. Ibuki is adept at combat. Ibuki also greatly enjoys nature, art and poetry.[2]
Ibuki is non-binary.
Behind the scenes
Ibuki is a character in the 2025 video game Assassin's Creed: Shadows, serving as one of Naoe and Yasuke's recruits and a possible love interest for the latter, though only if Canon Mode is disabled in the game's settings.
