Hibuse Fudo Temple was an abandoned temple in Kii that was used by Japanese Templar Kimura Kei as a training ground for his new army, the Saisesha, for the Templar Order.
History
In 1582, Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke followed a lead from Kei's advocate Kumabe Ujiie and traveled to the temple to find Kei. Allowed onto the grounds upon mentioning Ujiie's name, Yasuke saw Kei addressing a crowd of potential recruits. Upon walking forward, Yasuke accused Kei of being deceptive towards them. Kei responded by ordering them and his men to kill Yasuke while he escaped to his quarters. However, Yasuke managed to defeat all the recruits and three of Kei's Saisesha rōnin before confronting him. After a lengthy fight, Yasuke managed to best Kei, who accepted defeat but refused to give up Nuno Caro's location.[1]
However, Kei offered his armor and helmet as a reward before telling Yasuke to finish what he started. Ultimately, Yasuke executed Kei and then found a letter regarding a new target, "The Silver Queen."[1]
