The skill tree is an in-game user interface that allows the player to upgrade Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke's weapons and abilities during their time in Sengoku period Japan. Skill points are earned as players progress through the story. In turn, the points are used to unlock skills, which are either passive in nature or require a command prompt to be activated, and are divided into the two six-tiered subgroups of weapons and traits, with Naoe's split equally and Yasuke's being predominantly weapons-focused.[1][2]
