Mibuno Vale was a forested valley in the northwest of Iga Province, Japan. The area was known for the Mibuno Castle that served as a stronghold of the Iga ikki and was where the ninja Fujibayashi family had made their home during the 16th century.
History
By 1579, the Igan jōnin Fujibayashi Nagato lived in Mibuno Vale with his daughter Naoe, whom he raised with the farmer Matsu's help[1] in the absence of Nagato's wife Tsuyu.[2]
