Assassin's Creed: Dynasty (Chinese: 《刺客信條：王朝》) is an upcoming comic book published in Chinese by Ubisoft in collaboration with New Manhua.[1] It will be set in 755 during the Tang dynasty, it will follows Li E as he joins the Hidden Ones on his path to become a Master Assassin.[2] Azaïzia Aymar, Ubisoft's Transmedia Director, has confirmed the comic's release.[3]
Publisher's Summary
During the prosperous Tang dynasty, an ancient war of freedom and order was waged. In 755 AD, a civil war broke out. Commander An Lushan developed a split faction, "Yeluohe" from the "Golden Turtle Bag" forces, and rebelled in order to fight for the position of leader. The imperial court under the control of the leader of the "Golden Turtle Bag" Yang Guozhong was unable to quell the rebellion, the people were turbulent and the world was in chaos. The Assassin Li E and the family of his loyalist Yan Zhenqing made an alliance to fight and turn the tide, eventually becoming a generation of Assassin masters and establishing the predecessor of the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins—the Hidden Ones.[4]
