Assassin's Creed: Shadows – Tales of Iga Chapter 23 is the twenty-third chapter of the manga Assassin's Creed: Shadows – Tales of Iga, a prequel to Assassin's Creed: Shadows. The manga, written and illustrated by Reguje, was released on 30 April 2026.

Hattori Hanzō stands in front of a dead woman and starts to crumble, believing that he brought dishonor upon his family and how he will never have Tsuyu as his wife. Then, a voice begins to taunt the shinobi about whether Matsudaira Takechiyo's family is alive or dead. Revealing himself, Imagawa Ujizane keeps insulting Hanzō and states his lineage will have no honor. Suddenly, Amano Kageyasu knocks out Ujizane, much to Hanzō's surprise. However, Hanzō reveals his upset over the loss of Sena, but Kageyasu admits that that dead woman is not Sena.
Upon this revelation, the bell is rung as Ujizane's men are called to attack the intruders. Hanzō and Kageyasu soon leaves while Ujizane regains consciousness and disvows all of those who betray his and his clan. While the Imagawa soldiers run towards their master, Watanabe Moritsuna enters the premises and attacks the soldiers. Quickly dispatching them, he catches up with Hanzō but is surprised to see Kageyasu but no Sena. Running away from the Imagawa reinforcement, Moritsuna and Hanzō discuss of what their next steps will be in finding Sena and the children.
However, while escaping, they see Udono Nagateru riding past them and catch sight of Sena riding in the back of the horse. Nagateru chastizes Hanzō before riding away. Kageyasu soon informs them that he rides to Kaminogō Castle, Nagateru's own castle. While Moritsuna offers for them all to go to the castle, Hanzō decides to go alone while telling the two to join Takechiyo's forces. Moving towards the castle, Hanzō affirms that the Templars will not take over their country but wonders what his plan is to infiltrate the castle.
