Assassin's Creed: The Essential Guide is a non-fiction guide book to the game series and its spinoffs released on 15 November 2016.

An updated re-release which covered franchise content up to the end of the main-game storyline from Assassin's Creed: Odyssey arrived in the US on 25 February 2020 following an earlier French-language publication on 21 November 2018. The second edition also features a newly added foreword, written by brand content director Aymar Azaïzia.
