Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 13 is the thirteenth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 18 July 2023.
Plot summary[edit | edit source]
Edward Kenway and John Young return to Zhang's village with two chests of treasure and other goods that Edward received from Madam Lee. While the villagers enjoy the gifts, John asks if this means they are now working for Lee, to which Edward clarifies that they are simply allies of convenience. He then invites John to accompany him on his upcoming expedition to Angkor, much to the navigator's excitement.
Despite being told by Lee to lie low for the time being, Edward reveals that he has a plan to acquire more information. Having used part of the treasure to purchase expensive clothes, he has Zhang and his fellow laborers put them on so that they would appear to be of a higher social status and, thus, be able to secure work contracts for major trading companies across Macau. Edward hopes that if the laborers manage to get close to the company higher-ups, they will overhear valuable tidbits of information and report them back to him.
