St. Dominic's Church

Saint Dominic's Church (Portuguese: Igreja de São Domingos) is a church built in the peninsular part of Macau during the late 16th century.
History[edit | edit source]
In 1725, the British Assassin Edward Kenway infiltrated the church to spy on a meeting between the businessmen Sun of the Hualien Trading Company, Jan van Aert of the Dutch East India Company, and Alan Jacob of the Far East Company, all three of whom were responsible for orchestrating an attack by Shimazu clan ninja on Madam Lee's estate.[1]
During the meeting, Edward speculated one of the three men to be a Templar, and witnessed Alan using a "treasure" he had acquired to persuade Sun and Jan to go along with his plan to cripple Lee's company. Ultimately, Edward was unable to confirm his suspicions of one of the businessmen serving the Templars and left to inform Lee of their plans.[2]
