Assassin's Creed: Blade of Shao Jun 1 is the first tankōbon volume of the manga series Assassin's Creed: Blade of Shao Jun. The manga, written by Minoji Kurata, was released on February 19, 2020 in Japan and June 11, 2020 in France. On June 6, Mana Books released a trailer[3] and preview of the first chapter online.[4]

Based on the world-class video game series, comes the long-awaited comic!

In 1526 AD, China was ruled by the Ming dynasty. It had been prosperous until then, but a storm raged in the great purge by the Jiajing Emperor and sowed confusion.

Shao Jun was left the last Assassin in China after her Brotherhood was murdered by the eunuchs who belonged to the Knights Templar. Having fled to Europe alone, she returned to her homeland after undergoing severe training—for revenge...[5]
