Also, European writer/artist STÉPHANE LOUIS (Tessa Agent Intergalactique, Carmen McCallum, Aquablue) is joined by Véra Daviet to weave us a tale set in a future where the Templars are on the verge, yet again, of eliminating the Assassin Brotherhood once and for all![1]

La Bestia
- Brazil, 1971
A black teenager runs down the street, late for school. When passing by a couple of military policemen, the police grab and start harassing him. A woman with long hair and glasses throws a stone at their car, shouting at them to leave the kid alone. The police throw the kid aside and advance on the woman, beating her with their truncheons before binding her and throwing into the back of their car.
As she is taken to a house on the outskirts on town, she reflects on her mission for the Brotherhood. She had allowed herself to be taken on purpose, to get closer to her target, a Nazi known as "La Bestia". The Brotherhood had learnt about his experiments with Herne+, a substance meant to remove the subjects' freewill.
At the house, she is tied to chair and made to wait in the torture room until La Bestia walks in. He begins to mock the Assassin, stabbing her leg with a knife and readying a syringe, but was interrupted by a guard who entered the room to inform him of movement detected on the compound's perimeter. La Bestia tells the guard to take care of it and closes the door after he leaves, with the distraction allowing his prisoner enough time to cut herself free with her Hidden Blades. She leaps across the room and decapitates him.
With her target dead, she goes through his belongings and finds a notebook detailing Abstergo Industries sites all over South America. A phone rings, and when she picks it up, the caller asks how the experiments went. She warns the caller that the Brotherhood now knows where they all are and that "La Bestia is a new animal now". She walks out of the room to find the bloodied corpses of the guards and three Brotherhood members waiting for her.
