Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 29 is the twenty-ninth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 07 November 2023.
Plot synopsis[edit | edit source]
As Edward Kenway, John Young, Zhang, and the prisoners they rescued run towards Rupiya's ship, Edward volunteers to buy the others time to escape, only for John to reveal that he has kept one bomb, which he throws at the pirates. Although he misses and the bomb lands in the water, its blast radius is large enough to destroy the dock they are standing on, separating them from the pirates.
After the crew escapes from the Paracel Islands, Rupiya reveals that he unintentionally sailed to the "Boneyard of Sails", a rough patch of the sea infamous for the number of ships that have sunk there. With the pirates chasing after them, Edward decides it is too late to turn back, so he devises a plan to eliminate their pursuers.
Once the pirates have gotten close enough, Edward orders Rupiya to turn the ship around and allow the crew to fire their hwachas, killing most of the pirates and leaving them unable to steer their ships. With the pirates stranded, Edward orders the crew to fire the hwachas again, killing their remaining enemies and allowing the crew to get close and plunder their ships.
