"Departure" is the second chapter of the manhua Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Blood Brothers written by Feng Zisu.
Summary
North Sea, 866
As the Vikings sail across the North Sea, Ulf and Björn talk about how much loot they could get their hands on. Jarl Sten, touched upon hearing of their conversation, came forward and recalled to his younger brothers how he fought with Ragnar Lothbrok some 20 years ago. He remembered fondly how they raided the kingdom of West Francia. Sten hoped that when Ulf and Bjorn set off to join the Sons of Ragnar, they would return by their own abilities as they have done time and time again. He then praised their bravery, comparing them to Gungnir and Mjölnir respectively, but also warned them to rely on each other, as well as shields and time itself. After some time, their longship arrived in the Kingdom of East Anglia. Making port, Sten ordered the skald, Lord Blueshield, to stay with the ship and help unload as he and his brothers explored the shoreline. They then made their way to an abandoned church where they were shocked to find several people crucified with the ravens plucking out their eyes.
