Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 4 is the fourth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 16 May 2023.
Plot summary[edit | edit source]
Having been discovered standing over Hendrik's corpse by the navigator's Dutch East India Company colleagues, Edward Kenway escapes through the window by taking a Leap of Faith into a cart of hay below, startling John Young, who was waiting for him. Edward manages to get John out of danger by pushing him into a nearby alley, and loses his pursuers by hiding in a cart full of flowers, only to be found by a person with an oni mask and their ninja followers, triggering another chase.
Watching Edward fight against the ninja, the masked person remarks that the Assassin's skills rival those of the Shimazu clan and asks their entourage about Edward's identity, though they do not know it. Escaping to the port, Edward defends an innocent man from being killed by the ninja following him before a cannonball hits the water near them.
In the present, Doctor Shimazu Sei updates Mitsuko Nakamura on Noa Kim's progress reliving Edward's memories. The Inner Sanctum member requests to be informed as soon as possible when Edward leaves Macau for mainland Southeast Asia, before returning to Abstergo's headquarters and leaving everything under Sei's control.
