Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 22
Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 22 is the twenty-second episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 19 September 2023.
Plot synopsis[edit | edit source]
While waiting in his room, Noa Kim is attacked by a Bleeding Effect-induced hallucination of Edward Kenway. After the apparition vanishes, Shimazu Sei arrives and gives Noa a blindfold and a pair of headphones to put on for their trip to Macau. Once they are far enough from Abstergo's facility, Sei allows Noa to take the items off, after the latter complains that he will not get to enjoy his first vacation overseas. Sei is surprised to learn that Noa has never left Korea before, to which Noa reveals he could not afford to do so, something he is sure Sei cannot understand given her wealthy upbringing. In turn, Sei reveals that she has served the Templars and her family her entire life, so she never had time for vacations either.
Arriving at Macau's A-Ma Cultural Village, Sei attempts to gain entrance to the old Zhang residence, but is informed by the security guards that Abstergo's fieldwork request has been denied. A furious Sei calls on her guards, demanding that they be let inside or they will take action.
Meanwhile, Noa discovers that he has gained Edward's Eagle Vision and runs away to follow Edward's footsteps to the back of the Zhang residence, finding a secret entrance. Once inside, he has another Bleeding Effect-induced hallucination of Edward talking to Zhang before leaving Macau. Inspecting a desk, Noa finds an old ledger hidden inside, but after taking it he hears gunshots outside and decides to investigate.
