Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 7 is the fifth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 6 June 2023.
Plot summary
In the present, Noa Kim offers a deal with Doctor Shimazu Sei about volunteering himself for the Animus in exchange for his freedom. Reluctant, Doctor Sei agrees to the terms but reminds Noa of interfering with his ancestor's history. She points out that constant interference can make the subject experience the Bleeding Effect and may have Noa forget his own memories. Choosing to ignore her advice, Noa heads back into the Animus and starts to synchronize with Edward Kenway's memories again.
In the village south of Macau, Edward is told by the locals that many suffer from the same illness like the sick woman from earlier. Talking with John Young, Edward determines a solution of salt and sugar may ease the people's sickness. Young reveals that affluential businesswoman Madam Lee may hold the necessary resources and that her location is at the docks where they were attacked earlier. Venturing back into Macau alone, Edward travels back to the docks and sneaks his way inside one of Lee's warehouses. After finding both salt and sugar, Kenway starts to wonder how to transport the resources until he is interrupted by a random check from Lee's guards. Hiding in the rafters, Kenway overhears the guards talking about how Madam Lee paid tremendously for a dead Dutch sailor's sea log.
