Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 3 is the third episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 9 May 2023.

Plot summary

After saving John Young's life, Edward Kenway fights and kills the attacking men, discovering them to be pirates from Cipango and deducing them to be after Young for the same reason as him. Kenway has Young lead him to Hendrik's whereabouts, a boarding house for sailors working for the Dutch East India Company, and he climbs up to Hendrik's room, only to find the man bleeding out from a stab wound. With his last bits of strength, Hendrik hands Kenway a letter for his family before revealing information about the location of a "piece" in Angkor and passing away. A group of sailors finds Edward standing over Hendrik's corpse, assuming him to be their friend's killer.

Noa Kim's intense feelings about family causes a synchronization error during the session, but the Animus's attempt to resync by bypassing factual information was successful and the simulation managed to continue.
