Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 11 is the ninth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and SHYATAN and with art by Tabii, was released on 4 July 2023.
Plot summary
Madam Lee and Edward Kenway are caught off-guard by an attack by ninja led by Shimazu Saito. Lee orders her men to kill the intruders and they manage to gun down several of the ninja. One of the guards holds Edward at gunpoint to prevent him from running away, but the latter grabs his pistol and uses it to kill a ninja who was running towards Lee. Realizing they share a common enemy, Lee reluctantly allows Edward to help out. As three more ninja barge into the room, Edward shoots two of them and pushes the third one aside before making his way to the courtyard, where Lee's remaining guards and the ninja are fighting.
Hearing Saito's horse, Edward realizes he is the leader of the ninja and goes to confront him. The two engage in a duel, with Saito coming out on top as he manages to break Edward's sword, forcing the latter to pull back. Before the battle can resume, one of the ninja calls for Saito and picks him up on horseback. Edward and Saito exchange names before the latter and his ninja retreat.
As Edward expresses his belief they will meet again, he notices he no longer has Hendrik's sea log and realizes it has been taken by Saito during their duel. Although impressed, Edward reveals that he has not come away empty-handed either, as he managed to keep a letter he had found inside Hendrik's log earlier.
