Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 55 is the fifty-fifth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and NOHT and with art by Tabii, was released on 7 May 2024.

Plot synopsis

Edward Kenway impales the monk with his sword, only to discover that it is an illusion conjured by the crescent amulet and that the real monk has run away. After quickly checking on Shimazu Saito, who is recovering from the amulet's effects, Edward tells her to rest and sets off in pursuit of the monk.

As the monk runs through Manila's streets, he uses the amulet to mind-control the civilians in his path and orders them to slow down Edward. The Assassin easily dodges their attacks, but finds that the amulet is somehow impeding his Eagle Vision, preventing him from locating the monk. After climbing to the rooftops, he uses Eagle Vision to locate his target and corners him in an empty alley.

While the monk questions how Edward was able to find him, the Assassin tries to sympathize with him, understanding that the monk must have his own reasons to have stirred up all the chaos in the city. However, he then explains that a Piece of Eden's power is too great for any human to wield and tries to take the amulet away. As Edward reaches for the artifact, the monk resorts to one last trick to keep his treasure and again uses the amulet on the Assassin, causing Edward to awaken in a strange void.
